Samajwadi Party leader Rajpal Kashyap made a controversial remark against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's father on Thursday, stating that the CM's father's name is 'Awaidhnath.'
Addressing a gathering in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit, the Samajwadi leader attacked the CM over the 'abba jaan' jibe.
"CM Yogi fires abba jaan jibe as his father's name is Awaidhnath," Rajpal Kashyap said.
Yogi Adityanath on Sunday attacked the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Kushinagar town, claiming that only those using the phrase ‘Abba Jaan’ – code for Muslims – used to get foodgrain rations before the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power in the state.
